Blaire, one of our food-loving culinary dietitians here at Healthy Dining, agreed to share her holiday party go-to recipe.  This Light Smoked Salmon Dip recipe may seem like a high-calorie treat, but it’s actually low in calories and fat and packed with protein and flavor. 
 
Where will you be wowing people with it?

Light Smoked Salmon Dip
 
Serves 10
Serving Size: 4 Tbsp
 
Ingredients:
  •  4 ounces smoked salmon, chopped
  • 8 ounces light cream cheese, room temperature
  • ½ cup non-fat plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon capers, rinsed and finely chopped
  • 3 teaspoons fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 3 teaspoons fresh chives, thinly sliced
  • ¼ teaspoon Sriracha hot sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
 
Directions:
  1. In a medium sized bowl, or a mixer fitted with a paddle, cream the cream cheese and yogurt together until smooth.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and mix until incorporated.  Garnish with a chive or dill garnish.  Serve with your favorite crackers, bread, or crudité.  
 
Nutrition Information Per Serving: 80 calories, 6 g fat, 3 g saturated fat, 20 mg cholesterol, 190 mg sodium, 1 g carbohydrates, 0 g fiber, 1 g sugar, 5 g protein
