All the delicious and nutritious details:
F2O is all about the $10 price point in 10 minutes. This restaurant has something for everyone. It offers vegetarian options like grilled vegetables, sweet mashed potatoes, wheat berry rice, fruit salad and a black bean burger that is house-made. Many of the menu choices feature leaner proteins like flame-grilled chicken, salmon, seared tofu, and blackened shrimp.
Healthy Dining-approved menu choices include:
Market Salad (340 calories, 15 g fat)
Vegetable Panini (440 calories, 19 g fat)
Salmon Entrée (670 calories, 24 g fat)
Fire Grilled Chicken Entrée (600 calories, 13 g fat)
I ordered a half portion of both the soup and salad. My Market Salad had dried fruit and candied walnuts with fresh fruit, which made it a complete meal on a plate. Find this healthy recipe here
. The presentation was unique with long rectangular plates creatively displaying the salad and a hearty portion of soup. Each entrée at F2O can be ordered as a full or ¾ portion, and the soup & salad and soup & sandwich choices can be ordered in half size portions. This soup & salad is a perfect size to meet most nutritional needs and satisfy bellies at the same time.
I also loved the tea and lemonade bar with unsweetened versions of both. My cold apple cinnamon unsweetened tea was thirst quenching!
The concept of fast food with flavor-bursting health made me wish F20 were in every town across the US. They prove that quick food really can be delicious and nutritious without breaking the bank or our belts. I can’t wait to visit again to try something new!
