Looking to really impress Mom this Mother’s day? Lavish her with one of these simple and fun ideas, and she will know she is appreciated by her family.
  1. Take mom on a surprise picnic! Now that the sun is out, throw on some shades and sunscreen, and take mom out for a picnic. Some great dishes you can pack include protein packed sandwiches, a yummy fruit or corn salad, and frozen bananas for dessert.
  2. Plant some flowers as a family! As the saying goes, April showers bring May flowers. Brighten up this Mother’s Day by spending the day planting flowers or herbs together. Give mom a chance to pass on that green thumb to the rest of her family.
  3. Bring Mom a healthy breakfast in bed. Serve mom a veggie-packed omelet, fruit-filled oatmeal or yogurt parfait in bed along with some beautiful flowers you picked from the garden. Don’t forget the coffee!
